Crackdown Event: The Kraken Wakes 5/31/13-

What a low blow. I wasted my karmas. The day after last event ended..

I blew my karmas too...gunna use 3 sushis from last event I guess...not planning on spending. Have 205 dorayaki (s) atm.

I have 8 dorayaki . At least they r easy to come by on this event oh and first team battle against milkmanmoo. "great" lol

Lol really fast for this event. The event lasts for 9 days only?

yea i was also surprised at the quick release but whats more the time limit is alot shorter i remember it being something like 14 days before.

They do this from time to time. I forgot what they call it something something crackdown...lol. Its a mini crackdown pretty much. On avg the events r 14 days long but there r some exceptions.

they reset 5am pst, and ur login reset is either 6 or 7am pst.

Crackdowns seem to still work much as I remember them, beat X amount of baddies till boss pops up, defeat boss, rinse and repeat. Only big difference seems to be the "raid bosses" which used to just be super-rare encounters where you'd need a team to beat. Funny thing is before the event I had just discovered how useful battle turns could be for getting smaller xp amounts needed to level, since pvp battles net xp whether you win or lose. Definitely something to consider when you just need that little bit more to lvl for more energy. Even if it's a shorter event, they still seem to allow pretty quick progress since I had wasted 1 karma use before event started and still got to Stage 5 without spending. Up to Stage 7 now and out of karma.

Ugh I really wanted that 1 week break...wont be playing much this event...think ill b saving the tokens and dorayakis...I sacrificed so much last weekend lol...just gunna work on getting epic suit I guess.

Yeah I'm working on the epic suit idont really care about raid bosses. I think I'm on a pretty good role compared to last time I did the crackdown. It's been two days and I'm at stage 8. I think I'm doing pretty well compared to last time which I only got to like to round 10. The points might be a problem for me so I only have 14k so I might need to pull a few Mvps off

To get the epic u do need to get some raid boss wins. U need to at least get 1 top 2 in each tb u go into. U cant get the epic by just doin the stages by themselves. Stages don't give very much unless u get lucky and can kill the super bosses in 1 encounter all the time.

Yeah I've placed number 1 in my first team battle and I'm like number 4 on my next. Since I'm a free player I have to wait till tomorrow to continue. Do you know how many points it is for the epic fanthom suit?

If i get up to 99 gems i just lvl up r2-r3 weapons that r cool lookin. They are very cheap to upgrade and act like a gem dumper. Also u can save em in ur inventory and resell them at max and get some of ur gems back at least instead of letting it sit there at 99 and then discarding ur extras in digital space to never be seen again. Just what i do. I try to not waste anything in this game.
