How to Fight Heisters/Dogs

Heisters/Dogs.  Can't kill them?  With the right timing and planning, you can kill these fairly easily.

Here are the basics:

1) Heisters/Dogs are scaled to your attack and defense.  So it does not matter at all whether you have epic gear or crappy gear.

2) There are 2 or 3 levels of difficulties of each kind of heister/dog.  There is no way to tell which one you encountered.  For example, you may notice a green heister moving fast at times (these are the stronger ones) but sometimes you may encounter one that is slower and hitting you less (these are the weaker ones).

3) You may encounter them more often during frenzy.

4) Kill them when you are just about to level up or clear a floor, so you can replenish your health right after killing them.  Keep in mind that rep does carry over to next floor.


How to kill them:

Green Heister/Bad Dog

**About 70% kill rate with no frenzy or boosts. (Can be kill normally)
**100% kill rate with frenzy.  No attack aid or assist.
**100% kill rate with 55% health + assist.  No boosts, NO FRENZY

Major Heister/Big Dog

**About 95% kill rate with frenzy and attack aid
**About 70% kill rate with just frenzy no attack aid
**100% kill rate with 70% health + assist NO FRENZY
**100% kill rate with 60% health + def cola + assist NO FRENZY

Dark Heister/Top Dog

**About 1%(?) chance kill rate with frenzy + assist (Proven by rahkimx215 on 7/26/13 with her noob account ::Hyoni:: you can actually kill it with no SD!!)
**About 5%(?) chance kill rate with frenzy and attack aid + assist
**Of course 100% kill rate with SD

Your success rate is better than mine. LOL. You must slash faster.

Might want to reduce a bit because its also about timing and number of attacks. If you can do 21 hits, you have better chance than only doing 19 or 20 hits.

Also take note that 70% green heister kill is assuming you meet the easy green heister 70% of the time. My feeling is that its closer to 50%. But then again, I usually attack during frenzy only. So data is a bit scattered for that.

Gold is more like slightly more than 50% for me. Either that, or am meeting too difficult gold heisters.

@Russell: How many times do you normally hit one of those tengus? Perhaps it is phone lag or bluestack lag, hence the reason why you hit so little? Furthermore, the more luck gear you have, the higher chances of killing it due to crit.

For me, the numbers that Sarah has is fairly accurate

I can do up to 24 -25 hits

I do about 24-26 hits, so I usually get them.

23 to 26 hits on raid bosses on crackdown I can do. On arena, 21 hits usually. Dunno. Might be why I am missing out. Test it next arena since I now have a SGS4 LTE. Hehe... hopefully that's the end of lags.

arena most i do is 25 hits...let us know how u do on ur s4

Btw, kill rates are slightly reduced by about 10% on big dogs. They raised the difficulty this event.

Crackdown consistently 24 & 25 hits with occasional 26.

Arena still lower. Getting about 22 or 23 hits for the draw. Although usually its not alive by the time I hit 21 hits anyway.

25 hits on a bad dog today.  Beat it normally no frenzy.
No assist.

Thanks Sarah ! Wow though i dont think I can even Beat Fast wo Frenzy, I usually don't even attemp With Frenzy unless Im about to Level or have 90% health or Better. Do you always have First Aids on Hand or Something?

Nick I never buy kit (L).  It's why the guide says you should attempt to kill it before level up or clearing floor.  Bad dog can be beaten no frenzy with assist when you have 60% health...if at around 50% health you can try with def cola and assist.  I get plenty of kits from friends during event so I almost always have 3 stocked up.  When I encounter bad or big dog and if im low on health thats when I heal just enough to get assist.

Also, both bad dog and big dog take half of your life so you can attempt bad dog at less than 90% life nick.

Realized at the very end of last event, it is really important to kill the Big Dogs as they give lots of points without considering Top Dogs which require Super Dupers

So what is the exact 100% strategy to kill Big Dogs?

I had been using following strategy:

Ensure frenzy is on as it boost your Crit chances
Make sure your HP is at 60 to 70%, so that when the Big Dog hits you down to about 20 to 30% HP, assist from friends will come.
Not all big dogs can be killed, some move really fast, some seems to have more defense while some hit u really hard and kill u before u could kill them

What is your opinion?

for the 2 100% kill rate strat, you do not need frenzy but it will be a bonus if you do.

And the 70% is for Sarah. She is too good. I probably get closer to 60% specially as you move up the tower. Tend to get the more difficult gold heisters.

Another 100% is 40% life with frenzy and assist. Frenzy is so you can bring down enough life that the assist is effective enough to work for you. Do this when you gonna finish the floor.

That said... having a tough time meeting gold during frenzy this time. Always Top Dog and Small Dog. Really put a spanner in the works when you want some Golds to fight.

Another perfect kill today on big dog with just frenzy no attack aid just before time was up. :)I killed two like this today.
Ill have to lower the percentage of kill rates for others.
I agree russ, getting less big dog encounters.

From my experience the frames dont seem to matter. Every time you defeat a dog, the name of the actual player comes up after you defeat it. So if the player you faced was wearing a gold frame suit, the dog would show a good frame. Not sure if you will get what I mean. >.<
