Its extremely difficult to reach apex if you are not a spender.  Im going to try and attempt it this event without spending.  By the end of the event about 60-70 players make it to apex but that also depends on how long the event is.

Only way a free player can make it to apex, is if NR decides to stretch the event days back to 14 days again.

I hope it happens! If not I'll never ever get to it..  

9 days is impossible... but 10 days is possible. I got 12 and 13 on the last 2 towers previous arena which was 10 days. And I didn't have kits the last 2 days which screwed up any chance I got. I don't use the attack aids and super duper.

So its possible... if you are lucky.
1) Get plenty of aid kits that means you never have to stop.
2) Good encounter rates
3) Kill golds... a lot
4) Might have to use the super duper they give, the attack aids, defense aids... etc.
5) Lack of sleep is a requirement... set the alarm clock so you don't miss any energy. Play every 3 hours to take advantage of frenzy.

PS-I need my sleep so going to stop after reaching 3rd tower this time. Am on the 3rd tower 12th floor now.

if you are a free player then you cant make it to Apex if you dont get previous events gear upgraded

because of r6 gear now with many many players
pros and low lvls and you can hardly beat them

Don;t forget that you need no life lol

and ya 1 more thing on apex ... you will get there the most useless gear in NR since Day 1

just 1 r6 gear from floor 20 only i think this event its should be ( Helm of Gagiel )

Is it just a coincidence that sometimes I can get 3-5 kits in one day, and the next day I get 0 for the whole day?

It happens to me all the time XMyst. one day its 3, next its 15, next is 0, next is 5, etc. It just all depends on your friends and if hey get you on their list of 3.

Oh ok, so I guess it all depends on luck. lol

The kits is depend on the floor u stay all, the higher floor u stay and the lower hp u have will get u a high changes in your friend list kits.

Congrats to all!
I attempted to clear 5 towers no spend.  I failed but awfully close.  4 towers cleared and 5th tower was at 13th floor.  Just needed another day.  Used a few sushis last hour to get top 50.
Oh and didnt use any free SD.

Congrats to everyone! . Was away and never got the chance. Awesome job!
