Yea im pretty sure its because of the luck. It takes the total amount of Atk + Def + Luk. If you upgrade the Bloom Sash one more level then it will probably be higher than the ace gear.

Do you think it has anything to do with the ace Specksynder being fully upgraded? Do the fully upgraded items get a boost?

Agreement with xMyst, it probably counts all stats... so the total would be:
Specksynder: 31309
Bloomsash: 15650
Now the question is, where are you autoslotting. On the boss or on the main screen?
