I feel so weak for a lvl 44

I'm currently lvl 44 and trying to do arena, but i feel so weak. I have about 50k attack/defence and i can't even kill a heister or people who are just a few level above me.

BTW, how does the timer work? Does the timer go down faster if I hit nothing or do the wrong action?

I would say take another crack at the beginer event if your only level 44 coming out of it. Check out the 1st or second page of the bug thread for a good starting stragey. U should be able to get all beginer event maxed fused. You will still suck your 1st couple events. But u may suck less.

You guys need to realize, the game is set up to play for months, it is a time sink unless you want to pay cash to speed up the process. So long as every event you get better gear than what you had before, you are playing at a good clip. It's this slow crawl to getting better that will get you hooked on the game.

i did not know about the bug before i started playing, so i'm past stage 1

Is it natural to not be able to kill major heister for my level and with the attack i ahve?

Heisters are scaled... you can kill the brown. Green with frenzy. Gold with frenzy and attack aid. Black with Super Duper.

You do get lucky once in awhile. Like being able to kill gold with only frenzy. Say 40% chance.
