Ynot563's guide to Arena

So...in all my experience with playing arena, I have come up with 3 ways you can go about this event. Only pick one goal for an arena event. If you want to do all 3, then most likely you'll be spending. If you divide them up and do 1 it is lessens the load and makes it easier to accomplish playing free.

Disclaimer: This doesn't guarantee you high ranks

There are 3 ways I believe that you can play arena.
1. For ranks
2. For clan suits
3. For max fuse


For ranks
Usually if I'm playing for ranks I immediately choose the tower with my best gear and get up to flr 5 as quick as possible. Along the way I fight the weakest players and go for combos immediately. If you do reach flr 5 and its locked, just go to the next tower you have strong gear for and get as high up as you can. If you are low in hp and want to keep your combo up, go to another tower and either beat the low lvl tower or die there in a first aid kit battle to get full hp back. I wouldn't mind to much about winning the floor rushes. If you do get it, great, but if you don't w/e.

For clan suits
When playing for clan suits, you do the above but it is less intensive, because you obviously dont care for rank. Just play it smart. Time your turns and karmas. Keep your combos up for this one too. Instead of goin up 2 towers as quick as possible, spread yourself to 3 towers and lvl them all at once.

For max fuse(flr rush weapons)
When playing for flr rush weapons, you gotta lay back for a bit. Finish towers as slow as possible. Will insure you that you are matched up with weak players or even by yourself to compete for the flr rush weapons.

For example: You finish 1 tower to flr 5 already, then the next day they unlock flrs 6-10, DON'T do flrs 6-10 go to your second tower and finish that off, and to even make you even further, do a 3rd tower and finish that to flr 5. This way you'll be far back from the good players and the spenders. So now all you have left to face are weak non spending players. (This is not 100% but it works 80% of the time. Keep your combos up. They really help to completing flr rushes quick.

If your going into a flr rush make sure you have these things:
1) 3 karmas unused(don't be afraid to use them all on flr rushes that is the point!)
2) you start with a energy bar that lvls you up(a half energy bar is ideal to start with and is enough to lvl you up due to higher chance in getting a frenzy)
3) You have a combo of 20 or more(obviously the more would be better)
4) some first aid(s) or some first aid assists that you can die on purpose in another tower so you can continue faster and not lose your combos

Note to weaker players on this fuse strategy: You might not end up with all the fuse weapons in 1 arena event but you have a good chance to combine more than 10-15 that is r5 3 fused weapon.

The point of this strategy is to take advanatage that the lower flrs will be empty due to everyone wanting to be at the top so you can snatch a easy flr rush win.

Additional tip, don't be afraid to just flee an encounter. Sometimes, you just get dealt bad choices, as in some people with really good gears. Remember the ones that give you a lot of trouble and avoid them like the plague.

You can't technically. Just look for the ones with low reps or real low lvls. This helps a little bit. Otherwise I dont think there is a way to tell till after u accepted the fight.

Thanks for the tips since I'm a non-cash player. I guess it's too late to do this and will have to wait till next area event.

By all means, still play it, you can still get stuff like gears to sell or if you get lucky, to upgrade. You can still get to floor 5 of all towers easily.

This is an awesome strategy guide, wish I would have found this before the arena event haha.I did pretty sloppy ending up with modeate fusions, moderate rank, but got all the clan suits to epic. Between the newcomer event and this arena event i blew like 100+ dollars. I know that prolly sounds lame but with always running out of energy and trying to take down dark and major heisters I find myself buying moba coins often. I would like to be like others and try and not spend so much and enjoy the game freely. Can you still do alright and get upgraded strong gear usually when not spending or is it worth to every now and then go to himes hoard and buy super dupers and such and can anyone naturally take down a dark heister without a super duper? Thank you

I wouldn't feel bad spending 100 bucks for this event. In a past arena event I spent 150 bucks. I ended up with a 3fused r5 ace gear and that led me to better gears easily. Usually I would place pretty high up now, that I get 2 r5 and 3 r4 without spending.

Thanks man, That makes me feel better knowing that others spend or use to. Do you ever concentrate on the dark heisters for clan gear or mainly the end prize rank gear?

I guess I've only tried to get to the end prize rank gear. I never really spent much on super dupers.

Alright, The super dupers are a gamble and pricey. Thanks for your help. I'll be better off on the next arena event now.

I woudnt say they are a gamble, cuz if u get super dupers then ur gonna finish the flr much faster anyways. So you get the gears from the black hiester and possible a flr end gear. I guess I meant that I dont spend on them cuz they are super expensive for me and i rather get more sushi or first aid kits and keep my combos up so I'll have more bonus reps. Which if you get over 100 combo(200 bonus rep) its pretty much half the reps you get from a regular dark heister(400 rep).

Very true and I agree. That's a huge combo. lol. I think my highest was 20 or so. Ill keep this info from your guide in mind for the next one and see what I can get. I think it's smart how you said to leave the tower and go to another one and die on a first aid battle and keep the combo from the other floor. That's pretty awesome. I just meant by gamble that You can't predict your next fights after you activate the super duper and might luck out and get another dark or major heister or it could be a fast or minor. It'd be awesome if it let you use the three shots of the one super duper when you'd want but it makes your use them regardless otherwise if you flee the fight looking for dark or majors it wastes a shot of it and it's no good.

Yea forgot about that, you cant choose ur next fights. Yea it is a bit of a gamble. I guess when i used my free superduper I got 2 dark heisters and 1 major 1 which is lucky i guess. Didnt think that u might get unlucky and waste it on 2 normal peeps.

Nope, no chance lol. The best you can do as a free player is clear 3 towers and a lil bit of the 4 tower but never all that i know of.

Wrong Ynot. You can reach Apex without paying or using premium items. The strategy is this;

1) Maintain your win streak. Lose your first aid battle to get back life if necessary
2) Take note of all first aid kit sent out. Estimate when assist is available and use it to help you go after gold heisters during frenzies.
3) Make use of frenzies. Trigger it when you have level up or karma turns.

I reach apex without sushi or using SD. I only used one attack aid.

But just so you know... its all because the event was 14 days... lol

O yea...forgot that the events r now 14 days lol. They used to be 7 days. The good ol days...when nr wasnt so lazy they had to stretch their events out. O yea rus, i think im only 7 more days login bonus for blood bros so we'll trade soon yea, well more like me give to u lol, but its all cool not like i play anyways.

Wow lol I always get crap for my super duper freebies! But this last event I spread out my time very widely. All five towers, were to floor 11+ but only 1 tower to 15. I was extremely smart about my karma and refused to use them but in a floor rush!!! I ended up with a 4 fusion 5* dagger , 3 fusion armor and 3 fusion pocket item. Now, having read this guide though, I think I did that perfectly! I was interested in rank AND the gear. It was epic. This really gave me the edge and the boost to start the current event stronger then ever before!

The events used to be only 7 days? That's so little time to do anything! At that rate you gotta pay$$ to be top #1-500!!!
