On a different note, Im ranked #68 right now, not even using all of dorayaki(s) daily limit with one boss to claim. Maybe I can go for gold plaque with just spending a few bucks.

The thing is, im not even getting super boss encounters during frenzy. not even 1.

I was talking bout free players, I usually never count cash players because of course cash players r gonna get it with sandstills.

By my estimation Tengu is 45 mins late, anyone else having that problem?? Or am I reading the schedule wrong? 1600-2000 PST??

I'm at 44 dorayaki(s) although i might end up using them all for gold plaue >.<

How so you have so many doras I fly theough mine as soon as Tengu hits the seen. I got over 40k points last night during his hour and this time I only got around 20k+ bui am using my doras.

Are you guys saving them?? If so what for??

Maybe to have advantage in some of the next events. I'm just like you so i'm just assuming that.

You want to rank as high as you can on an event. To do that, you got to play efficiently:
1. Try not to waste energy and battle turns by playing every 3 hours. If you are close to leveling, compute how many turns you need to level up and multiply it by 3 minutes and try to come back at that time. The more energy you use than your competition, the higher points you get, simple as that.
2. You can use 20 small dory a day. 9 days means you can use 180 of them an event. This ensures you can rank as high as possible. This is the main reason to hold on to them until you get a sizable stash.
3. Knowing when to play is also a big part of getting to a higher rank. Playing when a lot of players are on makes raid boss battles breeze by, gives you a real chance of getting MVPs.
4. Using your energy wisely. Try not to press go as fast as you can. Waiting a few seconds before pressing go again WILL give you more encounters. I don't know why this is but I have been testing it, I got the numbers to back it up. The way I explain it is whenever you press go, the game communicates With the game servers. If the game servers are overwhelmed, you know how sometimes, it takes a long time to load a web page? Something like this can happen to the game, I've seen someone on FB page call it the no encounter loop.

These tips have served me well, it ensures that you can rank as high as you can without resorting to being a cash player.

Any idea how to use this "backup" mentioned towards the bottom of the event tips? It says "If players cannot finish off an event boss in one battle, they can request backup from friends and other ninjas..."

Sounds like it could be useful to save energy on event bosses.

SS? or the L Dora's pack?

If it was me, I would prob go with the L dora pack just because I hit high enough dmg that I don't need to rely on SS to get wins for me and the dora would help me participate in more battles. I say SS if you hit real low but want to compete with the big boys for mvp. But thats just me.

Just press the request backup button and you've done it! i've never felt that it really has much effect and in the bottom of the screen it says something about waiting for you back up, i dont know if that slows the encounter rate though.

Didn't they remove the backup button? I don't have it.

cuz currently i can only reach 100k damage and 121k defense
which is quite low i guess

I do about 2.2 - 2.5mil worth of dmg to a lvl 45 tengu boss with 3bts. I dont know..doras r cheaper. I never really want to spend on an SS only if i'm really desperate which i'm not right now so. If i were you, I would go with the doras. I mean if you think about it . 5 L dora +3 S dora is 750 and 3 SS + 3 S dora is 1200. Essentially 1 ss is like using 6 bts cuz it doubles ur atk. So that equals to 6 L doras + 3 S dora for 1200. When you can spend 750 for 5 L dora + 3 S dora and then buy 3 more L dora seperately to equal 1200. Like I said before, if you want to hang with the heavy hitters and ur not doing that much dmg then get the SS but if ur already doin dmg to keep up with the heavy hitters then dont. I would mostly say if you can hit tengu for 2mil+ in 3 bts then you dont really need ss.

It's all depends on what rank u're trying to achieve, for #1-3 abt $600 plus. #4-10: abt $600 esp for crack down event. for #11-20: usually abt $100-$200. #21-50 is around $30-$150 and #50-#100 is all luck and minium spending.
So decide where u want to go before making any purchase and how much you can afford. Once you start buying it's very addictive & will lost track how much you have spent.
If it's your first time to p.store get at least 100 SS & lots of $1 dorayakis. Make the most of it.
My advice is Super duper the best p.item now to get since there are no more Bright Outs. If you buying for the 1st time buy heaps for $1 each otherwise you will regret.

Wow, thx Besthippo for telling the ballpark figures of the amount we should expect to spend for ranks. I would of never guessed it would get up to $600+ to be rank 1. WHOOooo. I guess i'm never gonna be top 10.

I don't need the supremacy item this round and want to carry over my claims for the next round -- just worried I might lose the claims if I wait too long.

How many claims have you sat on before turning them in?

Do you know if there's a time limit or limit on number of claims you can sit on?

There is a limit of pts you can sit on but no time limit. I think the most i ever sat on is 13k pts but thats about it. Maybe somebody else can answer this better.

i know it's a lil bit out of topic, but what about arena's? should i stick with sushi's? or med kit's?
some of my friend said get the med kit, as the more you can defeat the opponent, the higher extra point from the combo i get
